Riffs N Waves

Riffs N Waves is a surf/indie rock gig featuring local bands: Kliffs the Band, Borderline and Albert Street. The gig will be taking place in the new, not-for-profit, multi-purpose venue, BIG FAN, located 25 McDonald Street, Morningside, Auckland. BIG FAN is a cozy, state-of-the-art, all-ages and licensed venue and studio.Tickets begin at $15 for the first 26 people to purchase! From the 14th of April or when our early bird tickets sell out, they will be $20. Door sales will be available on the night, $25 for students with proof of ID and $30 for general admission so make sure you bring a student ID if you are one. Door sales are not guaranteed and there it’s only a set amount reserved due to venue capacity and the amount available will depend on our online ticket salesDoors open 7:30pm on the 5th of May 2023.This event is supporting Movember, a global community of people making a difference in Men’s mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. All proceeds of this event will be going to Movember. The program’s aim is to inspire and teach rangatahi the necessary skills required to start their journeys into the music industry, while also exposing them to new and exciting career pathways, opportunities and connections in the industry.
