The FREE week long Summer Residencies are intended for Aotearoa based producers, artists and songwriters from the age of 18 with no upper age limit.

One successful applicant outside of Tāmaki Makaurau will have a portion of their travel and accommodation costs covered, so ALL creatives from Aotearoa are encouraged to apply.

APPLICATIONS HAVE NOW CLOSED.

The BIG FAN Summer Residencies will run from Monday March 27th to Friday March 31st from 10am until 6pm each day.

The BIG FAN Summer Residencies will provide three successful applicants with;

  • Exclusive access to one of our three studios for five days*
  • Technical support from BIG FAN studio staff
  • lunch and beverages each day
  • funding towards travel and accommodation for one successful applicant residing outside of Tāmaki Makaurau.

*Recording studios will be allocated based on applicant requirements.

Funded in part by the Ministry of Culture & Heritage, a second Residency opportunity will be announced later in the year.
