PAN ASIAN FAN CAMP: Vol 4 & RESIDENCIES

BIG FAN is offering opportunities for Pan-Asian creatives to participate in two immersive five-day programmes. The initiative has been crafted to better support and nurture the talents of Pan-Asian music people in Aotearoa.

The first initiative, FAN CAMP, invites 9+ people of Pan-Asian descent to join an immersive five-day collaborative songwriting camp. The second initiative, RESIDENCIES, offers three Pan-Asian creatives to have free access to the studios for five-days for an in-depth exploration with the music creation process. Travel and accommodation will be covered for one person who reside outside Tāmaki Makaurau for each programme.

Participants are welcome to apply for both programmes, selecting their preferred option as their first choice. To wrap up, there will be a listening party and playback songs made from both weeks, open to all participants, friends, whānau and members of the music industry. Additionally, a showcase with Pan-Asian artists will take place on Thursday 9 May, free and open to the public.
