‍FAN CAMP

After a very successful first run of Fan Camp Rangatahi in 2024, BIG FAN is opening another FAN CAMP for those under the age of 18. Nine successful applicants will be invited to write collaboratively with other songwriters, artists and producers. Campers will, over the course of the five days, have access to three professional-grade recording studios to experiment and record demos for the music written during the week, for free, and with no commercial release expectations. Fan Camp is designed to remove as many barriers as possible to the collaborative processes of songwriting.

This round of Fan Camp is exclusively for those aged 18 and under. BIG FAN is excited to provide another opportunity for young creatives to get involved in the industry no matter their age, while being mentored and surrounded by industry greats and top of the line recording equipment.

Applications Open:  Tuesday 20th May, 10am
Applications Close:  Monday 02nd June, 10pm

WHAT’S ON OFFER: FAN CAMP provides each successful applicant with:

  • the opportunity to write songs in collaboration with other artists, songwriters, producers, and musicians at BIG FAN for five days
  • lunch and beverages each day
  • mentoring from indusry professionals
